I have been making all my cards this year, but I needed something to put them in. I love this black and white damask flocked paper. This paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle, the line is called Love Letters. The scalloped around the lid is black ribbon I believe is Creative Imaginations . A little ribbon around the handles and your done. Croppinsville can Accut your pieces for the sides, top and dividers. My dividers are , birthday, sympathy, friendship, holiday and misc. I now have cards ready to go for any occasion.

Fresh Start

I was thinking about the meaning of Easter today and how thankful I was.
"Because Jesus was raised from the dead, I have been given a brand new life, and have everything to live for. (1 Peter)

I have so much to be thankful for and more hope and joy than I can contain. My prayer is for everyone to have the love and joy that comes from knowing the Lord.

Have a wonderful time with your families over Easter. God Bless

Easter Time

I made a few Easter cards to send out this year. This is a good way to use up your scraps. I got the idea for the bunny face from a Sonic add. It is a circle punch and 2 petals from a flower punch for the ears. The rabbit is from the Cricut cartridge, Zooballoo. I hope you have time to make a few cards this Easter. Take lots of picture and enjoy your time with your families this Easter.

Page Layouts

OK, I really like green. It seems that everything I work on has a little green in it. Green is fresh and new. I used a sketch and added my own twist. Its just a little scrap lifting. Most of the paper is basic grey. You can't go wrong with pink, green and brown.
Have a blessed day....

Coffee Table Album

I make a lot of things for other people but, never for myself. I decided to make a 9x9 album (Bo Bunny) for my coffee table. I didn't put a title on the cover, just very pretty paper from Heidi Grace. The flourishes are flocked on the green back ground, not only is it pretty, it is soft to the touch. The first page of the album is titled, Faith Walking, which is what I do on a daily basis. As I make pages for the inside I will post them. Have a blessed week.

Making A Difference

My church, Ramona First Baptist, is starting a new study, Reality, 7 truths from experiencing God. I have really enjoyed it so far. Today's reading was about making a difference. Are you letting God use you to make a difference? I hope I am. I am trying to listen and follow Gods plan for me. Do not let the temptations of the day interfere with your relationship with the Lord. I'm listening, Lord.

Sorry, I forgot to post the cruise book pictures. So here they are.

My Favorite Things At Croppinsville

Allie, owner of Croppinsville has asked all her designers (yes, I'm one) to do layouts of their favorite things to scrapbook with. I took my camera to the store and started snapping pictures. Some items are common supplies, and other are fun little accents. This is a picture on one of my favorites, Dew Drops. I seem to put them on every page. Go to Croppinsville and check out the album of Favorite Scrapbook supplies.

Cruisin'

I am taking an Alaskan cruise in May with my parents. I made this coin book for my mother. Each page has a spot for journaling and memorabilia can be placed inside the pockets. I used warm yellow, oranges and browns from my scraps. This was a nice way to use up my scraps.

Best Friends

I am so excited I get to see my best friend (since 3rd grade) this weekend. I could not imagine life with out her. I wish everyone could have a friendship like we have. We have no plans, we just usually hang out and talk. This weekend we are going to help her dad work cattle. I'll try to get pictures. I know you think I couldn't possible know how to work cattle, but I DO. Thanks to a ex husband who liked to rope and my job I've learned quite a bit about cattle. Its hard to look cut with cow poop on you, so the pictures won't be my best.

February and March Calender

I have the February and March calenders up at Croppinsville. Go by and take a look. Here is a preview.

I never stop learning. Titus 3:2

Last night i was reading the book of Titus. The book is only one page long, but full of useful information. I really loved Pauls instructions on how to live. Chapter 3:2 Speak no evil about anyone, to live in peace with all. to be gentle and polite to all people. As my faith becomes stronger, the speak no evil is getting easier, and i have alot of peace, but be gentle and polite to all, is more difficult. Think of the lady blocking the isle in Walmart. She parks on the left and looks at can goods on the right. AARRG. I squeeze by and roll my eyes of impatiences. I will be working on that one.

Snap Shots

I have been very busy since my last post. For anyone who is taking the photography class at Croppinsville I have created an acrylic album for the photos you will be taking. It is made with a acrylic bobunny album and bobunny papers. For those who take the class I will print your pictures to fit the page. Go by the store or visit the web site to find out more. www.croppinsville.com. The album was hard to photograph but, i think you get the idea.

More pictures,,, my cute pink sewing machine, metal towel rack that holds ribbon and the 3 tier cute metal candy tray. I really like the dark metal stuff.

This is the messy area. 2 white book shelves i have had for 6 years. 12 in rubbermaid drawer units. The drawers are organized by color, then tools and glues. Miscellaneous jars and baskets. everything is accessible.

This is my Circut workstation, I used an old shelf that was in the garage to put my cartrdges on. The art work was done by Jennifers step sister Beth. The cabinet is an old TV stand. The white paper holder was made for me several years ago by a good friend Shawn. ( I miss seeing Shawn and Kelly).

Scrap Room

The room is finally done enough to use. I love it. I still have curtains to buy and a few items to paint. I can't wait to have friends over to scrap. I will post a few pictures and some descriptions.

Psalms 25:4-5

Lord, tell me your ways. Show me how to live. Guide me in your truth. Teach me Lord, I trust you all day long.

Sometimes I have to ask for doors to be opened wide so I can see where to go. Other times I forget to take my sunglasses off.....hhmmmm

Calendar Pages

Do you ever have trouble keeping up with events?I am designing monthly calendar pages for Croppinsville. Monthly calendar kits can be ordered at Croppinsville. January's calendar is on display now and February's will be up next week.

Use the calendar to right down events, cute things your kids say or just your schedule. When you develop your pictures you'll have the dates from your calendar. No more trying to figure out what day something happened on. Remember to take pictures of your everyday life. The time you share with someone is a special gift.

"Limish" Walls

Is Limish even a color? This is the first view of the room under construction. I love the wall color. I believe in using what you have. Just change it with paint and mix it up a little.

I Get My Scraproom Back

Yes, I get my scrapbook room back. It is bittersweet because my daughter moved out, but I get my room back. Instead of just moving all the stuff back in I decided to remodel using what I have. I painted the walls a pale lime green and my curtains will be black and white. I am taking picture of the progress so you can see what a mess I am making getting this room done. SOOO... watch for those pictures to be posted soon. I will also be posting the new date book I made.
